What do I need to book a car from Amroid Car rentals?

To book a car on Amroid Car Rentals in the Roseville, you can Rent one of our Economy Cars (Toyota Prius cars) or You can create a Turo account to Rent one of our Luxury Tesla Vehicles. You must be 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license. The Turo Luxury rentals require you get approved to drive on Turo. When you’re booking your first trip, you’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for every future road trip, business trip, and family vacation!

Do I require a Security Deposit?

Amroid Car Rentals requires a Security Deposit of $300 and a valid Credit or Debit card to book one of our Economy car rentals (Toyota Prius Cars). Turo Has their own requirements which will be explained when signing up for Turo access.

Do I Need To Have Personal Insurance?

We prefer it that you do. In case you don’t have personal insurance, we will provide you with enhanced insurance and add it to your bill.

Do I need my own insurance?

Renting our Economy Vehicles (prius Cars) will require that you have your own insurance on file or book our Protection plan in case of an accident. You are responsible for any damage to our vehicles that you rent. The Protection plan can mitigate your out of pocket costs if you damage an economy vehicle rented direct from Amroid Car rentals.

You don’t need personal insurance coverage to book a car on the Turo Platform Tesla Vehicles) in the US. But, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to our vehicle that would kick in before your Turo protection plan. Check with Turo on the plans that they offer for additional Protection.

Where Do I Pick Up My Car?

Can I get my car delivered to me?

Yes, We offer delivery to travel hubs like airports, train stations, and hotels, or to custom delivery locations. You can have your car delivered for pickup and return at your hotel or vacation rental to save time and hassle for a fee.

What Is The Daily Rate For Car Rental?

The daily rate varies by month and car that you choose. If you are looking for daily rates for a particular day, you can check it out using Calendar on our website.

Are There Any Additional Costs ?

There is a list of add-on options available for you to choose from that will cost extra. We also charge extra for insurance, tax, and deliver costs, if applicable.

How do I get discounts when booking a car?

We offer discounted prices for weekly and monthly trips, as well as “early bird” discounts for trips booked a week or more in advance. So, get the best deals and lowest rates possible by booking longer trips, at least a week in advance. Amroid Car Rental will offer weekly car rental and monthly car rental deals.

On your Account page, make sure you’ve checked the box to receive email notifications, and enable push notifications from the Turo app in your phone settings — we’ll send you occasional promo codes, discounts, and deals!

Amroid Car Rentals Economy cars will have periodic promotions and repeat rental discounts as well as discounts for first responders and Active Duty Military. Additionally, frequent travelers on Turo Platform can get rewarded with the loyalty bonus — earn a promo code for one bonus day when you take trips totaling 10 days in a 90-day period!

Do I need a US license to drive in the US?

No, you don’t need a US license to book a car in the US. But you do need a valid driver’s license — most international driver’s licenses are accepted in the US.

Can other people drive a car that I booked?

Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you book on Turo or Direct, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever booked the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; Amroid Car Rental Staff cannot do it for you with Turo. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.

To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and added to our Rental Contract for Direct Economy Rentals (Toyota Prius Cars). Please get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.

What is the cancellation policy on Turo & Amroid Car Rentals ?

You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip starts on Turo and 48 hours before trip starts on Amroid Car Rentals. If you book a trip with less than 24 hours’ notice, you have one hour after booking to cancel free of charge on Turo. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a small cancellation fee.

In the rare event a host cancels on Turo, you’ll be notified immediately so you can book another car, or we’ll help you find one. Your refund can be temporarily held to expedite rebooking, or the funds can be returned to your bank account — your choice.

What happens if I have an accident?

On Turo If there’s an emergency or an issue with the car, call our emergency roadside assistance provider, available 24/7. We’ll make sure you’re safe, then help you get back on your way. Amroid Car Rentals please call the direct office number 916 626-1901 and we will arrange for towing or if there is a car issue we will provide assistance to get you safely on your way.

What are the cleaning and safety policies ?

Under the enhanced cleaning policy, We are required to clean and disinfect our vehicles thoroughly before every trip, so you can feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel. We have taken training for Covid 19 protocols and have access to training materials on enhanced cleaning practices to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other viruses.
